East Lothian Wedding, Tyninghame Beach
Harriet and her family got ready a short drive from the beach at the beautiful Balgone Coach House. As I arrived, I was welcomed by huge smiles all round, the energy was calm but with excitement in the air. The sun was shining, it was a gorgeous couple of hours of getting to know the family whilst documenting the scene. After plenty of laughs and beautiful photos taken, I drove along to one of my favourite places in Scotland. Ravensheugh log cabin is such a stunning wedding location in East Lothian. Surrounded by Scots pine trees, the cabin is high up above Tyninghame beach, with a large grassy area for the ceremony at the front. It is completely secluded from the outside world, the perfect place to celebrate your love and have an outdoor ceremony wedding.
As I arrived guests were excitedly taking photos of the glorious views looking down on to the beach with the iconic Bass Rock in the background. With a buzz of excitement in the air, Corrie was doing a wonderful job of welcoming everyone with warm smiles and laughter. Their ceremony was colourful and joyous led by the wonderful Sarah Morrison. The day then flowed smoothly from moment to moment, confetti, fizz and canapés, gorgeous family photos and a lovely walk on the beach for some quiet time and their couples photo. We then all headed into Tyninghame village to continue the celebrations into the evening at the hall. Here are some of my favourite photos from the day, enjoy!
