Edinburgh Castle Micro Wedding

James and Sharon got married in May 2019. They live in Vancouver and planned a trip of a lifetime to come over and explore the beauty and culture of Scotland and Ireland. Whilst planning their trip James proposed. The excitement and ideas started flowing and they decided to get married in the stunning destination wedding venue of Edinburgh Castle, Scotland.

After looking at many Edinburgh wedding photographers, I was delighted James and Sharon choose Luke Bennett Photography to capture their special day. They were warm and friendly, as were their two guests, James' parents, who flew over from Canada to be their witnesses. Their wedding was wonderfully romantic and a pleasure to photograph. Tim Maguire, their humanist celebrant, gave a beautiful ceremony, it was a pleasure to work with him.

I had a brilliant afternoon being part of this beautifully intimate micro wedding.

Here are some kind words from James -

“Sharon and I could not have asked for a better photographer! We felt so comfortable that everything about our day felt natural and genuine. You really put us at ease Luke and your photography captured the love on that day perfectly. Thanks so much for being there for us!” - James
